The Regal Cinema, Fordingbridge

Architectural Photography

I was recently appointed by the owners of the recently refurbished Regal Cinema in Fordingbridge to take finished architectural photographs of both the interior and exterior of the building. The brief was to produce high quality, presentation material which would be used for both digital and print use to help promote the venue and form the content of their new website.

The original Art Deco building has been relatively untouched since its closure in 1965 and was sorely missed by the local community. Working with the architects behind the project, BrightSpace Architects, and with my personal background in architecture and design, I made sure to capture specific architectural details to celebrate the attention to detail. Everywhere you look, from the state of the art cinema screen and full Dolby surround sound, to the bespoke cup holders and brass door handles, the finishing is very well executed and overall, was a pleasure to shoot.
