Inspiring + Passionate Presentations and Talks

An experienced and enthusiastic speaker, Jack has given over 50 talks to camera clubs, shops and trade shows, and has three base talks to choose from (bespoke presentations are available upon request). I am currently taking bookings for 2022 and 2023 with three presentations tailored specifically to landscape photography.

Prices from £125 per talk + expenses @ 0.45p per mile, and can be done either in person or via Zoom - each talk can be 90 or 120 minutes and split in half so that we can have a small break with the option for a Q&A at the end.

Talk 1 - Let’s Talk Landscapes

Let me take you through my landscape photography journey so far. Full of tips and tricks I’ve picked up along the way, this talk includes stories and pictures to leave you feeling inspired by the great outdoors.

Talk 2 - The Change of Seasons

Is there anything more magical than watching the change of seasons? Something I am extremely passionate about, shooting the seasons will give you an insight into how I plan my landscape photography shoots.

Talk 3 - Landscape Photography Process

Have you ever wondered the process behind landscape photography? This talk will take you on a journey through the entire process, from planning to print, with plenty of tips and tricks along the way.

Upcoming Talks + Events

Browse the calendar to see when and where I will be throughout the year, greyed out areas are days of talks + events. Most camera clubs allow you to pay a visitor entrance fee, and camera shops will have links on their website where you can book direct.

Camera Club Workshops

Have a group interested in doing a group workshop? This can be arranged for your club with the minimum number of participants being 6 at a cost of £450 (£75pp) and the maximum number of participants being 10 at a cost of £600 (£60pp) which reduces costs by 20% on a full booking.

This includes travel within a reasonable distance from the club depending on weather/theme and location of the event. It would be a full-day workshop (7-8 hours) and be based around a sunrise or sunset depending on weather on the day.

“Wow, what a truly breath of fresh air for a speaker! It was great to have you bring so much warmth and enthusiasm to the topic. Your enjoyment of photography and the patience you have to get the right shot literally radiates from you making everyone engage and listen to what you had to say.

It was fabulous to see people taking notes and several members who do not normally do much in the way of landscape photography are now inspired to put into practice what they learnt tonight. As a follower of your facebook page, it was clear that the presentation was completely up to date, using very recent images and ideas to reflect how seriously you take you job and desire to pass on your knowledge to inspire others.”

— Laura Huxtable-White, Highcliffe & Infinity Photography Club.

“May I on behalf of the committee and club members, formally express our gratitude and thanks for a wonderful evening of photographic joy! There was so much for us all to enjoy; your infectious and enthusiastic style of delivery kept us thoroughly entertained all evening. Your attention to detail, your undoubted technical expertise and your willingness to share this knowledge in an honest and open fashion was very much appreciated.

You provided us with a wealth of excellent advice, the importance of planning and patience, keeping all your images for future use, knowing your camera - all this in a very engaging style of interaction. Your light hearted approach, interspersed with humour and anecdote went down extremely well.”

— Colin Walke, Barnstaple Photographic Club.
